Manufactured in 1924 by the Western Machinery Company, Los Angeles, California.

This Western 80 was used to power an ammonia compressor for a refrigeration system at Mountain View Dairy in Long Beach, California.

The engine was removed from the dairy in 1972 and was then held in a private collection until it was donated to AGSEM in the early 1980s.
